That's right kids, time for another cruise to Dirty's and down to the Continental Club.

Let's meet up at 8- 8:30 for some burgers at Dirty's. School is out, so the students should have headed out by now. We can fill up the spots with hot rods and customs.

At 10, we'll cruise through downtown to the Continental for the Ronnie Dawson Celebration. If you haven't heard, Shaun Young, Nick Curran, Keving Smith, Tjarko Jeen, and Lisa Pankratz are going to be playing Ronnie's music all night. And if that wasn't enough, the Jungle Rockers open the show. Should be a great show.

Sound off if you're up for it!

What the hell, if you live in Austin there's a hot rod something one or 2 times a week? Ok twist my throttle, see you there. If you think you want to live in Austin this is what you have to deal with (sigh). I heard Ryan was coming to this one. There's also a bbq & beer hour at Rucker Tire, corner of 620 & Hudson Bend rd. from 5-7 ( all types rods & bikes ).

Thanks for coming out, guys and gals. We had fun.

To those that missed the Ronnie Dawson celebration, you missed out on a hell of a show.

Stay tuned for a Yay-Hoos endorsed event real soon! We've got a good one coming up.

Lucky Dogs!! Nothin like tunes at the C.C., especially a tribute to my favorite live performer ever!! Mr. Rockin Bones, Ronnie Dawson. And the talented and lovely Liza on the drums!! Aye Carimba!! Enjoy, it should be a blast. The only consolation for me is a birthday party tonite for one of our local hotrod legends Dave Schieman Sr. with our rip-snortin Mezcal Brothers servin up a big heaping rockabilly show!! ~Sololobo~

We had a great time guys & gals and well worth the drive. Met lots of people and will take a while to remember all the names. Dirty's had great burgers and fries and the band was awesome. Thanks DW for the beer and friendship. Hated to leave a little early but had a long drive and what the hell the band was done. Got home safe and sound and looking for the next adventure. Buzzard and Hotrod13 were a hoot and good folks to be with and the drive from Dirtys to the Continental was fun, loud and we made it. Really liked the setup on Hotrod Bills ride and sounded good. Hope to see every one again down the road. RAY&AMY

Gotta love it when someone drives 3.5 hrs to meet some new friends, eat a burger, and see some amazing music before turning around and heading back home! It was great meeting you, Ray and Amy, and glad you guys made it back to Montgomery safe/sound. When we're down that way, you guys can buy the beers at Henry's Hideout!!

All night, we were trying to figure out how Rob keeps it running with the distributor on the wrong side.

That's an easy question to answer-Its because there is very few of us geniuses left that have the know how!:D We really have to have our shit together to make it happen and is also requires us to move the center exhaust over to make the room for the distributor in the front. Just a trick handed down by family from generation to generation:eek:
