Saw this roadster at primer nationals 2008, I got a feeling it was an old build perhaps even a famous car.

I am shure you guys know?

anyways it was beautiful, one of my favorites at the show.

  2. It's actually a 30-31 body on deuce rails, but you're right, it's right-on.

Wish I had built mine like that. Maybe it's time for a change.

Believe it may be "Blue" the Tardel book Roadster if not mistaken. Just a quick eye and a gut feeling?????

when i walked around looking at it and taking pictures, I overheard some older fellows talking about it, they were very exited about it and I got the impression it was a old build brought back to life. I regret not asking them....

I belive the guy with black hair in the first pic was the current owner.

    beautiful car.

Taking the chance that no one really wants my opinion
Those are 32 rails unless of course someone modified 1929 rails to look like 1932 rails

+1 Yep, if it isn't the same car it is one hell of a close clone.

Not sure how old the whole build is though. Somehow the hood looks newer than the rest of the car.

At any rate it just became famous even if it might not be historically famous.

Anyone have more info on the car?

  13. Its a glass car out of SE Missouri known in the boot heal as the Imposter. There was a pace down there poping out the bodies and built it about 6-7 years ago to advertise their product.

Ha fooled ya. I don't know a damned thing about it but I do feel a little ornery today.

I'd say it is spot on but sure as I do it'll turn otu that someone nit pick it todeath. I do like it though.

I read somewhere about a year ago that someone had found the roadster that once belonged to Sandy Belond and was restoring it...Is this it ? You got me !

There's a pic of it at the Lakes in one of Don Montgomery's books. Was only looking at it yesterday then found this post last nite. Has the same info re Sandy as in the link. Can't remember which book it was tho.

  17. I believe he was referring to the B/T car, which is indeed on A rails.
