Looks good but personally I like a few inches off the top... I do like the traditional look of the lighter top. I'm doing a '51 chopped 4" in the front and 5" in the rear. Just thought the roof was a little "up" there. I posted pics of my project a week ago, do a search of "chopped 51" to see what it looks like before and after. Kev..

    yah they sure did.

At this point im very convinced that a chop is not in the future for this car. My plan is to shave the gas door, handles, nose and deck emblems, take the seam out of the hood and call it a day as far as mods.

I am very inspirted by "Grapevine" and i love the look of the roof. I do appreciate all the input though. The car is currently getting some serious stereo work and then i plan on redoing the interior. the mods i dont see getting done for a bit, id like to enjoy it for a while first.

I'm with everyone else - leave it. There's something about a car that looks like it's come straight from the factory, but 6 feet lower. I think it makes you realise what you can do with grandpa's ride to make it cool.
    Pure bliss mate.

Its your car... but since you asked for opinions...
Glad to hear you are NOT chopping it!
I love when these cars KEEP their door handles...!
I like it just as it sits!!!

  21. like what you did with the car, but hate the color. i'd leave it alone. white with ugly seafoan green is your best bet. don't get me wrong, cool car, but that color does absolutely nothing for it. with all the chrome and upgrades you'd want it to stand out, it doesn't.

It's funny that you say this, because....the biggest compliments i get on this car hands down, is the color. People love the color, i just got a PM this morning asking me for the paint code. LOL :D

fyi, obo means Or Best Offer, And i have a lot of money in this car, if it doesnt sell then ill just chop it up next year. It takes a pretty penny to get a car this low done the right way.
