    John,
It was good seeing you and your Dad today. I was thinking of your good call on leaving the roadster home, as I was driving at 40 MPH with the wipers on full blast and still barely seeing out the windshield of my Dakota. Saw lots of guys that wished they left there's home.

We never made another pass. Closed up the tent at 3:15 as did everyone else.

Thanks for the pics John. The old time days at the track are simply magic, transporting you back in time. Looking forward to Mass Streetrodders? in late summer.

I went to NH with Dick Kiusalas from West barnstable, MA and his early 60's front engine dragster. Flathead powered. He made two passes before the rain shut everything down. Best time 11.4 at 118.+ MPH. Not bad right out of the box after sitting all Winter.
The crew was Dick, Scott, Dana, Brook and me. My grandkids were there too, under the watchful eye of Grandma Marge. I think Colin wants to drive that thing.
I didn't have time to take any pictures other than the dragster. Here's what I managed to take.

Mike Casella with the 60 chevy posted a sign at the Hull show 32 gal per mile. That caught peoples attention.

sorry I missed it. I was so worn out from the excitment of getting my plymouth on the road yesterday that I just went to Amherst fleamarket and called it a day.

i love that white '57 'bird. so crazy cool in all its roughness with the wide tires and 5 spokes just peeking out of the rear wheel wells.

[IMG]I went to New England Dragway yesterday for the first nostalgia meet of the year, and had a great time. I left the race car at home cause I had some other bussiness to attend to, but enjoyed seeing everyone after this long winter. I ran into several HAMB members through out the day. Here is HAMB member Hoop (center white beard) and his son Adam (left)walking around the swap meet area.... lots of good deals

[IMG] One of the deals in the swap meet was this old altered, that use to run a blown Chrysler. Formerlly owned by Scott Cave of Clinton, CT. This car would make some exhibition runs at Englishtown.
