Should be there with my 62 Merc, have the week off and will be going down with the group in T-town/ Puyallup area. Maybe just one day, not for sure !

were coming up from springfield - eugene, myself and at least three cars behind. should be fun. I will have my 30 sedan with a 40's tear drop swivel wheel cargo trailer in tow. as far as were to park for the group try to find an area with some shade, as last year it was one hot car show, btw great idea on the parking get together.

 

Going to take the Merc as of now, if things change I can jump to the shoebox. err? billit ?

Also, there's a brand new Holiday Inn opening right off of exit 79 in Chehalis. Should open first week of June orso.
I think they are taking reservations tho.

 

Yeah, if you bring the wife and kids you can dump them at the Great Wolf Lodge just up the road in Grand Mound. They have an indoor waterpark and such to keep them happy while you enjoy an awesome show

 

I'm home now so I imagine I'll be working then.

I will not be able to make it, but I think all the rest of em will be there.

 

Dont forget, Sat. Night Cruise in downtown Centraila. Map and schedule will be sent out in a few days. Sign the waiver as you roll in the gate for the show on Sat. (an insurance requirement) and you are good to go.

actually.... there are anti-cruising laws in both towns, Centraila and Chehalis... but, I've worked out a deal with the city of Centraila to allow registered Billetproof cars to cruise the downtown area on Sat night. If you do not have a Billetproof window card you will likely be ticketed for cruising.

ALL TRAFFIC LAWS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED DURING THE CRUISE.

City streets are not a race track. Burnouts, excessive speed and the like will result in a ticket and likely impound of your vehicle.

Be smart, dont screw it up for everyone.
If there is a problem with lots of stupidity during the cruise, it wont happen again. I've put a ton of work and not a small amount of money into making this happen ($ for the permits and insurance) and will have words with anyone that screws it up.

the downtown area is ideal for a summer night cruise... neon lights, wide sidewalks for kicking back on, one way streets with a nice loop to follow, lots of restaruants and bars, some shops will stay open late, plenty of on street and back street parking... its ideal.

 

Choptop, are there any rules/guidelines against selling some small parts or anything like that at the show? Example: Set of wheels, or small parts? I don't want or need a swap meet spot, but just thought I might be able get rid of a few things at the show? No big deal, just curious. Thanks
