    The idea is simple: Post a pic, or two of your Hot Rod and tell us the wheel size(s) & width(s) and the tire size(s) & brand(s) (and maybe the overall diameter) you´re sporting.


    This could be a very helpfull thread for everyone searching for the right wheel and tire combo for his project! You can compare different combinations others drive around and can decide which one you like the most!

    This thread can save you a lot of time chasing the perfect stance and it may even save you a lot of cash by bewaring you of wrong buys!


    So, do the HAMB and its members a favor and post your little secret :D

    -Rear-8.20-15 Firestone dirt track tires on back on a 15" x 6" "flipped" around Chrysler Cordoba wheels. App. 30" tall.

    -Front-5.00-16 Firestone ribbed tires on 16" x 4" wide 5 Ford wheels. App 26" tall.

  6. I would be interested in seeing a picture of a 285/70r15 BFG/Coker radial on an 8" and/or 10" wheel, if anyone has that set-up?

    That's what I am pondering in the rear of my '60 above...hard to put any power down (at any speed) with the 500" Caddy...

    My tires are 450/475 16 front and 750 16 rear. Both tires are firestones that I bought from coker. Brock

    I have 265/75/15 on a 15x7 rim(black roadster)

    the tan roadster has 285/70/15 on 15x8 1/2

    both have 145/15 on the front...............Hope this helps.

    I know its not done yet but

    Wheels : American Racing Vintage 15x4.5 fronts 15x 7 out back 3.5" BS

    Tire sizes Front 165/80R15
    Rear P235/75R 15

    theres some better shots than this of it in my albums, just couldnt figure out how to load the picture instead of the url

    FRONT:5:60 x15 Coker (2 3/4"WW), Tire dia. 25.88 on 15 x 5 1/2" early Ford truck rims(Total rim width of 6 1/2"); 3 3/4 in. backspacing. Stock drums; Posie reversed eye spring; Magnum 4 " dropped axle ( 3/4 in narrower than stock axle), Magnum dropped steering arms; stock sway bar and perch bolts and unsplit wishbones; 8BA flathead. Bolt pattern is 5x 51/2. REAR: 7:60x15 Coker BF Goodrich (3 3/8" WW); 28.66 dia tire on SOLIDS 15 x 6 rims (Total width of 7"); 4 in. backspace; Stock 40 rear,spring and shackles. Bolt pattern is 5 x 5 1/2". Front grille chin pan clears ground by 4 1/8 in. This set up dropped the front end a total of 8 3/4 in after "settling". (Just pretend the wheels arn't red.)
