  5. Neither....It needs a set of Lake Plugs exiting the front wheelwells. That's the look for me....Try to PS them in....Beautiful car BTW.....Centurion9

I'm a fan of bellflowers, but I don't think they fit your car.

I would run it with lakepipes.

I think that in the end, I would go with lakes pipes, even though the bellflowers look really good.

I know ya dont wanna here it .... BUT !!!!!!

    NO SKIRTS !!

Lower the back so its a bit lower than the front.

I would Run RIPPLE Lakes if i ran Lakes & if i ran BELLFLOWERS i would build them from '36 Ford Drive Shaft Tubes like the Original BELLFLOWERS Larry Watson built & made Famous.

The Tips available in aftermarket are Cheep & Cheezy looking as are the Cheap Ass lakes available.. Build your own and Have Something Cool.

Whatever you do is up to you as its YOUR car, But running BOTH Lakes & Tips looks Stupid...

How may pipes does it need ?

Lakes pipes with skirts, Bellflowers with no skirts... Personally, I'd run the Bells and drop the rear down a bit...

hemi just took the words right outta' my mouth.

  27. NO skirts and Bellflower tips! Run the Chrome reverse wheels you show in one of the photoshop pics too.

Lake pipes and skirts don't look good on late 50's - early 60's cars at all. Wrong era.

In my opinion, lake pipes and skirts on that car would make it look pretty "lost in the 50's-riffic". It would really cheapen the look of the car if you know what I mean. It'd make it look like a car that needs a stuffed tweety bird and some fuzzy dice to compliment a fake drive-in tray with fake drive in food at the car show. But then again, that's just my opinion.

Lakes definately look more appropriate with the skirts.

    I like Bellflowers in it.
Line them up level with the rocker panels like you have in the photoshop, not sticking up like the 1/4 upsweep, and center them, that's got six round tail lights set in the housing, right?) center them directly below the outer pair of tail lights so it looks tied together from the rear.

I only like skirts on cars that DON'T have a flared lip already on the wheel opening.
Reason being, the flare finishes the opening and that makes a skirt just look like a tack on afterthought, and not very much of that had anything to do with thinking.
I don't even like factory skirts on cars with the flares, like '56-on Chevys for instance.
I just figure they sold them because they knew people were going to get them from JC Whitney or somewhere anyway, sorta like trunk spoilers and visors.
