ZZ-top: Buy me a mercury, Rob Zombie: Dragula, Talas (Billy Sheehan): High Speed Ice, Jim Croce: Rapid Roy. Hot rod lincoln is a given.

Buy me a mercury has got to be my favorite though:)

CW McCall...Amazing! I thought I was the only one, so maybe now just the youngest one.."Leave a pint of blood at the door for a deposit..."

Three Bad Jacks has a few good car songs

Im In Love with my Car-Mike Ness

Ghost Town Blues - Social Distortion, mentions his Pontiac

    RFFR-Roger Miret and the Disasters

Wild In the Streets -Circel Jerks -not exactly a car song, but works.

One Piece at a Time- Cash - just amazing.

aha the first one of course--ROCKET88--1951, ike turner label says jake benson and the delta kats but for some reason it was ike turner(way before tina)some also say its the first r&r record but then some say bill haleys version is the first, but ikes was first ,also back in the late 50s there was one called drag race cant remember who by or most of the words but one cool line was--i was sitting at a signal with my chick, waiting for the light to turn green when i heard the rumble of a bad exhaust, and a chopped coupe made the scene, wish i could find it now

On one of the Gretsch web sites a guy posted that he now owns the 6120 that was used on "Little Forty Ford." I always liked that song and thought that was cool that he got the guitar from it.

The label actually reads " Jackie Brenston & His Delta Cats ". Brenston recorded Rocket 88 on March 3rd 1951 & Haley followed with a cover version which he recorded in July 1951. Ike Turner played piano on the record. At the time Jackie Brenston sang & played sax in Ike Turner's Kings Of Rhythm.

First record I ever bought was a 45 of Comander Cody and his Lost Airmen's Hot Rod Lincoln. Still have that 45 even though I have nothing to play it on.

Hot Rod Lincoln I traded for a worn 45 at school in the early 1970's

More of a biker song but
Black Denim Trousers & Motorcycle Boots
Had it on a 78 that was my Mom's but broke it

For the record, my brother was named Cody thanks to Commander Cody. Years later Commander Cody was in Duluth, and my father and bro. met him. What a hoot!

Personally I laugh every time I hear Beep Beep. But to get the juices flowing I put on just about any Ventures albums....but I'm a guitar player, so...

And not sure if it was mentioned, but: Jesus built my Hot Rod by Ministry.
