    42 ford complete frontend $160
    27 T cowl 100
    49-53 flathead ford v8 $300
    T 10 4 speed top loader $free (town scrap yard)
    Rear $free
    new front spring & hardware $220
    Rear spring $80
    4 hyme joint $18
    3/4 fine threaded bungs $20
    hinges latches and the rest of the door hardware $120
    bell housing adapter $500
    starter $250
    presureplate $120
    tranny rebuild n flathead rebuild kits $250
    1928 grill $40
    2 lengths of 2"x4"/24'- 1/8" box tubing $200
    3 4'x 8'sheets of 20 gauge cold rolled steel $100
    and about $150 of misulanious engine parts/bits n peaces of different steels n bullshit

    total so far $2628
    i still have a bit to go. i think i may go over my 3000 dollar budget haha

    That's an impressive car, made by your own hands, and now I find it even more impressive by the amount you have spent, or rather, NOT SPENT putting this thing together.

    Very, very, very cool car. You are truly a traditional rodder in the purest sense! Keep up the good work, and the pictures! I wanna see this thing go!:D

    yea i built bucks saved all the patterns but i honestly dont know for sure how close of a match up it is to a real model a. i measured a bunch of roadsters and a sedan but i actually never measured out a 28 coupe and still havent, i dont know anyone who has one. mostly everything is measured and made according to the measurements but a few things are by eye

    i have a shrinker for most things but some things gotta be done with the hammer
    but the english wheel shrinker stretcher and a break help out alot also a variety of hammers and dollies
