  7. Nothing sexier than shiny black paint. It's almost a sin to cover that beauty up
D Rodder. It's got my ass fired up.
These kinds of threads are my favorite hands down.

  8. Striper, you can never have too much teal. You and D Rodder are driving me nutz with your fine work and RPUs. Very inspiring.

Sorry Dan. I'm not feeling it. I can't quite put my finger on it, but if you'll leave it at my house for bit, I'll see if I can pin it down. Hmmm....

    Thank you all!

Scotty, I know what you mean 100%. I will bring it on over, the only other thing I'll need you to do is get it done-I wanna drive this thing soon! I will be picky about the hot-pink graphics though, so be careful!
    :D

Wow, to many truck builds to keep up with who is building what.
Great work and glad to see you rebounded from the PC disaster.

I can't tell you how happy I am to be past the PC issues! thanks man

Hey Scoot-thanks! Your car has done the same for many, myself included. Very cool build, & truly one of a kind. You are managing to pull off what is something few can do. I think you invented hugely too, maybe you inspired Paris:

    BTW, is that a hemi?:p

Dan,Glad to see that its finally a roller with a motor. You are inching closer and closer to having the body back on it. When you gonna spill the beans on the body color? Also it loos like you have some writing on your center caps. What does it say?

    dodgerodder,
What are the measurements of your box side skirts? I really like the look of them! Are the built the same a stock ones? 16 gauge material?

Thanks man!! I will actually be glad to cover it up & drive it finally hehe

35, the caps are 40' ford repops, the script says "ford deluxe". I kinda like them because they are really clean looking, plus I couldn't find any that said "pimp-a-licious" on them:p

I honestly don't know the measurements, but they are Brookville stock replacement A skirts. They are heavy gauge, 16 seems about right. If you need some measurements let me know, I'll be back over at the shop on Sunday

Well today me & my dad had a GREAT day!! My dad suprised me & had my drive shaft made this week(yeah, I still gotta take it out & paint it), so we hit on it to get the thing fired up finally.

After getting it ready to go, it did what it was supposed to do, & started up and ran! Man, I am on cloud 9:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Time for bed, but I will sleep well tonight. Check it out, I hope you enjoy! Here's a video of it after the break-in, so we could let it idle.

P.S. The volume is best on LOUD:p

    Dan

Doc, I feel ripped off. I asked for a cam that would idle like stock, & that's what they gave me.....geez!:D

I am really happy with the idle, it is what I was hoping for. The only problem is that it did a pretty good job of emptying the 5 gallon gas can breaking it in
