Customs Keeper

  1. ALWAYS DREAMED OF OWNING A MERC WOODY ( KUSTOM OF COARSE )

    WELL I AM FINALLY BUILDING IT. JUST FINISHED THE KUSTOM FRAME FOR IT. WE FABBED LINCOLN M8 SUSPENSION PARTS TO THE MERC FRAME.

    NOT GOING TO WILD ON THE BODY MODS. WILL CHOP THE FRONT AND REAR 3" WITH THE SIDES 4" AND SECTION THE BODY ONLY 1 3/4".

    Will you be steaming and forming wood or stacking and "carving" it out. Looking good so far!
     

  5. WE ARE PLANNING ON DOING THE WOOD WORK IN HOUSE. SAMMY THE OLD MAN AROUND OUR SHOP IS A VERY EXPERINCED WOOD WORKER AND WANTS TO TAKE ON THAT TASK :confused: SAMMY MAKES ALL THOSE REAL KOOL KUSTOM KNOBS FOR US AND 2 OTHER HOT ROD SUPPLIERS

    what is that IRS out of? because that thing tucked in very nicely under those framerails, i had to do a double take to realize that it wasnt a solid axle :D

  10. Hey roger please post any pics you can. It will be great to see another kustom woody project.

    This we be the 3rd kustom woody's we have built and the first one for myself. my grandfather Eiorn a wood craftmen from sweeden did the wood work for me on the first 2. He passed away a few years back so sammy wants to take a swing at it.
     
  11. Had the frame powder painted and finished up some floor pan & rocker repair.
