If anyone has a decent 56 roller in the NW i have a 31 roadster body minus doors id be willing to trade. If its nice enough i might even buy doors and throw them in.

A bit off topic but does anyone go to the ford supernationals and if so, are the deals there [new stuff ....like IFS, chrome pieces, weatherstrip etc] a good deal? Thanks guys. Peter

Yeah I have been and probably going this year. A few deals here and there with the vendors. The swap meet is so-so. Just depends on what you are looking for.

Great Trucks and a great thread.
I just purchased a '54 and getting lots of neat ideas from here.
If anyone has any more rear shots, I would like to get some ideas on tailights and what would look good back there.
    Thanks a lot, Kenny.

  19. You've got to do a full post with a bunch of pics of this truck, best looking pickup I've seen here!. Would make a great wallpaper if you had a nice high res one.

  22. Here's a couple of pic's of my '54, back in the early spring of '84. It's been buried in dad's garage, since I went to college, back in the fall of '84. It will soon be moving to Springtown, where I plan to get it back on the street.

My 49 F1. Doesn't look like much yet. It's already had one incarnation as a Hot Rod. What you can't see is that it still has a set of cheater slicks on the back. It used to have a 332 Interceptor in it. Just can't decide whether to retrofit it to the Flathead or go with another FE engine. I have access to a running flathead and tranny from a 2 ton truck along with everything I'd need to put it back to (almost) original. The previous owner drove this up to Montana and it had been setting in his back yard since 1978. It's a California truck and has very little rust. The broken windows and headlights were a gift from another neighbors a**hole kid. It's a good thing he never noticed the full set of new glass setting behind the seat. Betcha that kid is still wondering who ran over his bike.....
