I know its just a guess on everyones part, but a friend just did some trading and came up with a 51 Chevrolet two door slantback sedan. It has ZERO rust and is all stock ( 216 and 3 speed) , The interior is all 1951 bone stock cloth and is in great shape. What is this car worth? I want it .
i like that body style, but i have no idea what that's worth. there was a pair of 'em near here a couple of years ago, no titles, solid cars for 700 each.
I sold a 50 about 6 months ago and the guy drove it home from ky.to ill.....$5,000 cash....6 cylinder on the column.
My father in law just traded a basket case fiberglass 32 roadster for the nicest, unrestored 51 2dr fastback I have ever seen.... The 51 has 30,000 original and looks like it's showroom new... I offered him 10K for it... He said no...
Seller and buyer agree on a price = that is what the car is worth. All day, every day, regardless of part or car.
normally around here those early 50's chevies go from anywhere from 2500-4500 for nice original one's. The price only goes up when they have a drive train swap. Ive owned a few of those and the engine is tacked out at eleventy twelfth thousand RPM's at 45 miles an hour....thats why the stockers dont go for all that much because you really need a full drive train swap if not just a newer rear end if you really want to enjoy the car and drive it alot and long distances. Thats just what I have seen
