Just thought I'd share some pics. Decided to clean and paint the stock rims...I can't wait for my trim rings to get here.

    Before:

Original wheels with good tires, paint is old and rusty...this is the good one!

    After:

I cleaned up the chrome lug nuts and sprayed a rust converter (black) on the hubs front and rear.

Damn it! I've seen that car some where before. Oh its in my garage. Needs whitewalls and spider caps. An afternoon and some spray paint and change the look of the car. Looks better.

    You going to Rust Revival?

    What motor do you have?
    Is it a 500?

Dunno much about the Rust Revival...I'll have to look into that.

Is the RR 4-door friendly? Family friendly?

Motor is the stock 170 six cylinder...three on the tree.

Not a 500 but the horn ring is :)

    Nice car you got there!

Rims look great ! I always liked the look of those early sixties fairlanes. Keep the pics coming when you get the trim rings.

Yeah, I take her out pretty often...except when she's being moody (like tonight). I guess I still got some bugs to work out :)

I'm hosting a charity car show soon...any suggestions on where to post the details?
