I haven't seen the other side of that one. He said it was a 1920 Overland.

What makes you say that? Everything in the yard is for sale.

I haven't been invited inside yet. Hopefully soon, though.

I need that 1920 Overland body and fenders, for the chassis that is sitting in my grandpa's barn that used to be a hay wagon in the 40's and 50's.

I bought my '32 5w from him. It's an experience...... that you want to go through with both eyes open.

Is he the guy who used to want to trade all the Ford stuff for Packards in the Old Car Trader back in the early 80's? I remember drooling over those ads when I was a teenager. I might even still have some of those old car traders in a box someplace, there was tons of 32-34 stuff as I recall.

For sure. That's why I'm offering to inspect and photo-document cars for people who can't come out in person to buy something from him. Hopefully it will help keep things on the up and up.

    Thanks Slim!

That would be him! He's been doing this for decades! He said he has at least another 200 cars that he hasn't bothered to drag home. Yet.

Thanks for posting the photos! Looks like that stuff is out in the middle of nowere, but it had to be populated area at some time, or did all that stuff get draged from far away? Are things priced fairly or way over market price?

    Some cool Canadian-only stuff out there, a '59 Plodge 2 door sedan, a Meteor shoebox, a '60 Pontiac Strato-Chief and a '51 Monarch. '57 Plymouth doesn't look bad either.

It's all tucked away in a yard right in our little town. He's been collecting stuff for decades. I can't really comment about prices, he said he just finished lowering the prices on most of it. I'd say it's all pretty fair though. You just have to catch him on the right day.

It's all for sale. Not cheap, but not terrible, either.

Glad to hear someone is going to help catalog and photograph it all for a website, there is still a lot there.
Does he still have the 30's Packard Ambulance?

Dang tehre is some really straight, really complete stuff there.....I could spend more time that I care to think about in there....

  29. I remember seeing ads in the Auto Traders when I was younger from this guy and had a wish list a mile long. If I remember right he used to collect Packards and would trade even for them....

Awesome stash, hopes he sales the stuff before the family sends it to the crusher. Might as well be in China for me. To far to drive. How hard is it to bring one of those cars into the U.S.A. without titles?
