1 to change the headlight and post that it's been changed.

14 to share similar experiences of changing the headlight, and how they could have done it differently, having done it once.

7 to caution about the dangers of changing your own headlights.

1 to move the post to the technical section

2 to argue about moving it to the technical section

7 to point out grammatical and spelling errors in the original post

5 to flame the english majors who pointed out the errors

3 to correct the corrected errors

6 to argue whether it's "headlight" or "head light"

Another 6 to condemn those 6 for being stupid

2 industry professionals to to inform the group that the correct term is "headlamp"

15 know it alls who clami that they WERE in the industry and that "headlight" is perfectly correct

19 to post complaining that the forum is about traditional hot rods, and to please take the discussion to another forum

16 to defend the posting here saying that we all use headlights, and therefore the posts are relevant, whether they are concerning "traditional" headlights, sealed beams, or halogen.

36 to debate which type of bulb is more traditional, and whether it's appropriate to discuss halogen or sealed beams here.

7 to post URL's to sites where we can see examples of each type of bulb

4 to post the URL's don't work, and post corrected URL's.

3 to post links they fouond from the URL's that makes traditional replacement bulbs for reflector type original headlights.

13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety, including all headers, signatures and add "Me too".

5 to post to the group they they will no longer post because they can't stand the drama associated with traditional vs modern lighting.

6 to post reminders to the original poster to do a search before posting any topic, that this has already been discussed 6 months ago.

13 to do a "Google" search on headlights before posting questions about them here.

1 FNG to respond to the original post 2 years from now and start it all over again.

  2. 1 to curse the darkness

1 to claim that brass lanterns burning - what - whale oil - are truly traditional

Very true. And a legitimate question will sometimes get no response.

You misspelled Claim and I think there was a dangling participle somewhere in there also.

2+ to post that they'll get the popcorn ready.

5+ to post funny pictures of miners with lights on their helmets.

  22. Ha, so observant and funny at that.
Personally I would question if the lights being changed were origional t-3's and wonder if it was fair to the car to actually upgrade them...

and after all was said and done, it could all get deleted.....

If you're a Polack like me, it takes 4. One to hold the bulb, and three to spin the car over. :D

  30. 12 to say it's your headlight, change it anyway you want.

    and don't forget;
