I was wondering about that date myself. Working on a painting at the moment, see if I can get it done for this show.

Nekro nice stitching. Have you seen Roughstocksilvers(sp) work?

Crook- Love the striping. Has an asian/samuri feel to it for me.

Acro/John - Your photos always have such a great flow to them.

    Kristoph- like the striped Fink.

    Hidden- Nice set of customs.

Schwager- I love nose art. I always like close ups.

OddRodney- Definetly one of my favorite Tikis I have ever seen.

Ed T - Always blown away by your work.

Lots of great artwork. Look forward to ALL of it, always.

  7. Wow! Great show gang.

It's been a few weeks and I've worked on this every time I've had a free moment.
I had to get it done and, so here it is...

BETA 7 (The car line now has a new badge, "REGATTA" tho, internally, it
continues to be coded the BETA.

I have pared my detail way down and it still takes me months to get a drawing done.....

Back in the day I would do extreme detail like that. I should put my money where my mouth is someday.....

Well I've been eyeball drooling for a while and since I recently became part of the national unemployed statistic I now have a chance to do some art. Not H.A.M.B. worthy but I'll through it out there. Be gentle. I haven't completed a piece in over ten years.

  18. What are you unemployed from?
Looks like you could draw the replacement for South Park, or Ed,Ed and Eddie.

Spent too much time turning this...

  22. OK Guys.....My first offering on the FAS....

Be kind......the blue ones were my very first session with a Mack 00 and 1-Shot....Wiped the plexi off several times, but these are what I thought were my best at the time....

The red one was my second session....wiped off 4 times, then decided to try a design with different line weights....still the same 00 Mack.

Sorry I forgot to rotate the pic before I downloaded it, but you get the idea....

Any advice on starting a stroke cleanly would be greatly appreciated.

and to the HAMB guys, Paul G has also done a SBF and Cleveland........All 3 are available as posters and the SBC and SBF may be available a Tee-shirts very soon too...just PM Paul G direct for prices......he's too modest to blow his own trumpet!!!

Super nice stuff Big A...the trike transformation is way cool!! Were you standing on your head when you saw it's hidden potential? Should have left the spoky-dokes on it though! lol.

  25. Most guys trim the very tip off their brushes,
so the end of the line is more blunt.

It doesn't take much, less than you would expect.
    Easy to take more.

  26. Killer stuff Andrew...love the monster-shocker.

  27. Someone posted a photo of a trike they flipped, here on the HAMB a few years ago. It stuck in my head.

Spokey Dokes? Those things have a name? Geez, I just Googled it and sure enough... :D Geez, back in my day if we wanted to make noise we just used Gretzky rookie cards in the spokes.

  28. Great show guys; I really dig Jarantsont3, Acrochicken, Mr. Kool, Hidden, Rob Schwager, Ed Tillrock and OCB this week.

Dutch Courage, nice use of the halftone pattern! I have tried and tried to work in a halftone w/ my work but it always seems to stick out like a sore thumb.
