Hot Rods Should I put her to BED?

Elrod threw out the idea. I thought it would be good for practical reasons, a place to haul luggage. Then I did this photoshop, and I love it. What do you think? Should I toss out the "modified" and make it a roadster pick-up?

The bed would be removeable (I think) so I could run it either way.

I like that, it would make a classy rp. But then I like the way it looks now too.

I can well understand the need for a bit of luggage and stuff space when hitting the road.

Maybe build a bolt on subframe for the bed so that you can have it both ways depending on the mood an the need. Or just build a fold down luggage rack that you can slip on with a couple of pins for road trips.

Honestly, I think it looks great with the bed, now that you can open the doors, you could haul your shit too!

 

I like the thought of it being removable. Notch it around the tank, slide it in, 4 bolts, and go 'pickup' parts. pun intended.

 

A bed looks great on there.

 

There's always the option of a small covered trailer for the times when you need the space, or rig up the bed to be removable. This only sounds easy when it's a model or somebody else is doing the work. Your rod has tons of cool as it is and really doesn't lose much with the pu bed, but there are a lot of rpus out there and fewer modifieds. Everybody on the HAMB wishes they had your problem.

 

Almost seems like it needs to be a little "swoopier" in the bed.

The bed makes it. It will also make it a little better traveling and a good place for storage as well as eye apealing.

 

I like it better with the box on the back, makes more sense to me. I also would like to see it a bit deeper as was suggested.

That's a hell of a good photoshop, even close up inspected it looks real.

I actually like it with the bed better. Does need to be deeper like Squablow suggested. I think it balances out the whole car. Great idea, go 4 it!

As is or deeper, either way.

The car is different enough as it is and looks to be very well built that a bed would be a bonus and nothing would be taken away from the car.
