6 inches. And I'm gonna move the rear window down one inch so it flows a little better with the car. So the roof overall will be chopped 6" but the rear window itself only 5"...

I think I am probably going to do the same with my coupe. I don't want the rear window to be hammered so that I can't see in this coupe so I am going to chop the rear window proportional to the rest but not as much. I think it's little details like that that go a long way when the car is finished.

I think at the very least a "Mitch Approved" award should be given out at the Roundup!

I'm heading to my lab as we speak.

  13. If you look at that picture, you are right moving the rear window down when you chop it. Cool beans. Trent

Looking good! This is a cool pic. As it sits in this pic it definitely has a 60's vibe. Love the wheel and tire combo.

Just for reference, we dropped my roof 4 inches and only took 3 out of the rear window. The window was dropped an inch closer to the belt line.

To be honest, I don't mind the look of the smaller window at all but I think this will work better for me. Like JeffreyJames said, it's the little details.

Take Mitch and have him wrestle it in. I bet you have a fire lit under your ass now that Lone Star is over and you seen all those cool cars flood the city at once. 6.5 months till you deadline of November and 10 months till you get married. Get on it!!!

On another note I better not pay attention to this thread to much because I have an urge to use my 303 Olds engine instead of my 331 Hemi in the Coupe I am building. Seeing a Hemi being plopped into this car will only cause a decline in progress.
