well,,,i'm fairly sure most of you guys already thought i was insane,,,,but this will remove any bit of doubt you MAY have had..hahah,,,

the quarters and the cowl were welded up solid,,but the proportions were still bothering me a little,,,,,couldn't quite put my finger on what the hell was wrong,,,played around with fin location, quarter length, deck height,,,,but nothing seemed to do the trick,,,,,finally after some real thinking and analyzing,,i decided the car needed an additional two inches sectioned out of her,,,,total amount now sectioned from the car is four inches...i am very happy with the overall flow of the car now.....

    Hey Jim,

It's a serious drag that Metz isn't with us any longer, given the cars he built, and the direction you're headed with this, I think he'd of dug your effort!

  13. As if you didn't already have enough on your mind...that side trim with that rear wheel arch?

  14. This thing should have pretty good handling characteristics...I mean the center of gravity is going to be just above the pavement!

    Looking good!

    Yes, much better.

Actually it is comforting to see another guy that has the same sickness as me - you keep cutting it back apart faster than you can ever finish anything.

  16. Jeeez...didn't you read all the little book articles where it said to take 4" out of the body?
