Just go and see for your self if its worth the gas money.I think Mick puts on one hell of a good show. That and he has three great bands playing most of the day. This is one I'll go to every year.
I plan on driving the '66 Coronet up, since I'm doing a little work on the Terraplane... I wanted to bring the '56 wagon up, but it's still minus drivetrain and seats!!! For me, it looks like Saturday is the only day I can do anything.
about 6 or 7 of the punk rods will be heading down this year , this will be my first time to this show driving the pontiac down, pretty excited to get down there
I was just thinking that earlier when I read your post about the windshield glass.... She is known to keep things that aren't hers but I'll remind her. Walmart security needs to regulate.
Registration is in. Hopefully I'll also be following Rashy and Bullletproof -- in the '39 this year. Windshield is in, seats are in, hood on tomorrow night, color sanding and buffing on Friday. Headlights and taillights on Saturday or Sunday. If the grill gets finished at the chrome shop it will go in next week, if not, I'm rattle canning my spare one black and it's going in. The car may be a little rough on the inside, but if everything continues going like it has for the last couple of weeks, it will be there!! Woo Hoo!! J.
if anyone has any problems at all give me a call my cell is 907-1807 my shop is close to the show thanks travis
Kongrats Jim! I know that you will have a huge smile on your face next weekend. It is hard to beat the feeling when your car gets back on the road....Way too Kool!!! I about freaked when I saw pictures of your pontiac last year. She is look'n way too kool!! You can always rely on the Los Punk Rods to brining some wild rides... Have a safe trip down.... The 56 is looking very kool! Minus the drivetrain? is that important?? Keep it up and the wagon will be on the road soon. It is good that you have the Coronet. I have a 60 Impala 4 dr hard top that hopefully will get back on the road. Everyone needs at least two cars... Happy Trails, Mick
Where are ya heading up from?? Lot of kool convoys heading out of Tulsa. Be kool to hook up with one of them if ya can... Sorry, I got into a Triple "A" trip planning mode.... Can't wait to see your Chevy. Stance is everything. Happy Trails, Mick
