Got some fresh gas in Skully, cleaned the spark plug, and now the POS is running great. Still backfires like a pack of pissed off firecrackers on decel, though. I also bent my foot pegs so I don't pole vault when I lean it over dragging a knee!! ;)

Here's another short one to get you guys fired up for this weekend. Clif and Kathryn hosted a minibike 'Test & Tuna' Saturday... to get the sickles all dialed in... and to eat tunafish.

Laura Webber comes in a little hot with Buzzard on her tail, followed closely by Clif and Joyce.

I got mine out of the storage building Sunday and to my surprise the damn thing started. I brought it to work with me yesterday with the intentions of putting a 5.5hp honda that I laying around on it, but my clutch wont fit the honda and I am too cheap to buy another clutch (that and I just sent a large check to the IRS). So I tuned up the 3hp briggs that is on it, I may actually be getting all 3 horses running at the same time!
From the looks of the weather we should have a large crowd of spectators in the show barn. I can hardly wait!

Good deal, Wesley! And good point about the crowd in the barn... if the weather is lousy, we'll have 'em packed in to watch the races!

I think that the most spoken words in the staging area for the mini bike races will be "hold my beer"

Nothing quite as fun to watch as a bunch of middle aged men acting like teenagers!

It was great meeting everyone yesterday! I had a blast! I tell ya what, a chopper doesn't turn too well. ;) I think next year "Skully" will be reincarnated and come back as a bobber or maybe even a flat tracker!

    Good times!

I am thinkin that next year we may want to add a "seniors" division. That way anyone of 30 can be competitive!

    damn I am sore today.

I suggested 30 just to keep the kids,,, ummm,,, I mean ringers in a separate class. Besides I dont heal or recover as fast as I did at 40, much less 20.

The races were a blast. I'm just glad that I was even competitive and not bringing up the rear, or getting lapped.

Gary, great pics of the Yay-Hoo pits.

Haha, it wasn't directed at you at all. But when I read it back after all the grief I've given you in person, I could see where you'd think that.

You, Joyce and Kathryn did awesome. It was great to see ya'll out there having fun and giving it your best. For reals.
