Doc.'s broke down in Terrel,Texas and needs help! ASAP!

I just got a call from Slick 50 about a hamber in trouble

The guy that helps everybody else is in need of some help now,,

Doc. is on the side of the road in Terrel,Texas with is hauler and was on his way home from the Round Up.

He is on I-20 east bound in front of the Tanger Outlet Mall.

The side of the highway is my least favorite place to be.
We have lost too many people from roadside accidents.

 

I just got off the phone with Doc. and he thinks he has someone on the way to pick up the hauler,,,if I learn anything else I'll let you guys know.

He sounds like he is in pretty good spirits at least.
Apparently the ignition gave out.
Says he has no spark.
I can't remember how much they stretched the frame on that truck, but whoever it is that is coming has a 26' rollback.
I think he has almost as much bed behind the axle as he does in front of it.
Might be interesting getting it on the truck.

As soon as I read this I left to go help since it's close to my house ,but I didn't see anyone or anything. I even went down a few exits looking. Does he still need help?

Well, I just got home and got online and found this thread...... I hope Doc made it home OK. Keep us updated.

 

I'm fifteen miles away in Rockwall, it's a slow Sunday night and could use a little excitement. Got buds in Terrell just up Hwy 34 from the Tanger Mall turnoff. They have trailers and big Dodge trucks. Let me know if we can help. 214-707-2700

Someone said they were going to haul it to Canton - but he does not know who it was, or if it's been moved. He got over a dozen calls to assist. Whoever you are, please call Doc, and confirm it is moved and taken care of.........
He is back in Shreveport already, but still needs confirmation the Hauler is off the Freeway.

Breaking down sucks, I was stuck in Erie, Pa yesterday for 8 hrs before I got a tow back to Buffalo, I left from Mo. so at least I was close. Hope he gets it all figured out.

 

Hey guys. We just got back to Shreveport. I did receive a call from someone who said that they thought they could help with the toter. He had a 26 foot roll back. I don't know if that is big enough or not. Unfortunately I do not know who it was. I was standing on the side of the road with 18 wheelers whizzing by and I could hardly hear. He said he would go by and pick it up but I have not heard back from him. That was about 7:00 I think. I'm not really worried about the Hauler, I just don't want anyone to run into it and hurt themselves. We had one of Mark's 55's on the hauler and I was towing the Sedan behind it. We pulled the 55 off and hooked the trailer to it to get the sedan home. Mark and Charlotte went ahead and Monique and I stayed as long as we could to try to get things worked out. AAA bowed out when they found out how big the truck was.

We broke down dead in front of the Tangier Outlet mall in Terrell on east bound I 20. Is there anyone close by who could at least verify if the truck is still there or not. I'm not gonna sleep very well worrying for others safety if it is setting on the side of the road.
