Holy crap , air bags might be traditional???

    Just picked up some small page books at a swap meet and found this article from "1958" on switching a car to air bags pro's and con's using Cadilliac or Air-lift bags , hope the pictures come through clear, Also on the second to last page I think Ronco should have kept selling vertex mags instead of switching to record players and kitchen stuff:confused:

    I'm waiting to see someone try and deny the proof in the magazine.Either way,I'd love if the op e-mailed me with scanned pages of that.Would love an archive of how they did bag set ups in the late 50's,early 60's

    Yeah , airbags aint traditional and small block chevys are not reliable .

    Just to stir the pot...wasn't the feul injection in '58 mechanical? unless they had a trailer to pull a computer behind the car...:D:rolleyes::p

    LOTs of ads can be found for places offering to drop axles. Show me the "countless" air bag companies.
