Does anyone know if the lower cowl and lower rear quarter patch panels will work from a 36 chev since they don't reproduce 36 Olds parts....Or is the olds a bigger car??

The 6 cylinder Olds may share the Chevy body, but not the 8 cylinder.

The one behind the door looks close, I'd be looking for a 36 Chevy and make a pattern. See if someone with one will do it on paper and send it to ya. I sold mine or I would.

I'm not entirely sure but I'd be willing to bet that they're close enough to get them to fit. I think my 35 Pontiac is pretty much the same except for the fenders, grill, etc..

The Buick, Olds, and Pontiacs were all bigger cars than the Chevies/Fords... But a patch panel from a donor Buick or Pontiac should work.

That's what I kind of thought

  12. I agree with Ice Breaker and you can include Cadillac as well as a possibility.

I know one thing... its a bitch to find doors for....I have a set of 36 Chev sedan doors that might be getting used and just change the door tops and the body line in the rear quarter to match the doors...The belt line in the 39 chevys is the closest thing I have found...its almost exact...probably not even enough to notice....
