  6. I LOVE your lowered PWagon Beast concept.

Will it retain the 4wd or become 2wd? How about a separate post on the mods!?

How about chopping the star on the door a bit to reinforce the message?

All of the stock 4WD is shot, so instead of putting newer 4wd running gear, I am going to put a Mustang II front end and 9" and try to get it as low as possible. 4WD is fun, but I want to make a little diffrent street toy.
Chopping the top will be really easy. The top is made from round and square tubular stock and I can get 5" of chop with simple square cuts. The canvas company that makes the top gave me a good chuckle, but will cut the top to fit the chop.
Cool idea with the star. I have allready chopped the gas can that sits on the front fender. It looks cool.

  14. Ok, fellas, I was asking earlier about how to paint my truck like those blue xmas balls at Walmart. Well, I just found a car that has the exact finish I want! :) In the new issue of Hot Rod Deluxe, on pages 36-41 is Russ McBurney's blue suede '55 Buick Century. Does anybody know him or is he on here? Because, in the article, it doesn't say what he used for paint, and I really need to know how he did that and what color he used. Any help?

yeah, I wondered how the finish would hold up on a truck and sitting out in the sun.

  25. I dig the one on the top left! I like how the back surround of the window is white to match the roof.

It wasn't white. It was almond. White is too bright for me and I think the almond worked better.

  28. My bad. It still looks sweet though

  29. After 4 attempts at a satin black that would hold up to the sun with no real good luck, I just finished spraying my truck silver suede. Hope it will hold up well, but who knows at least this paint has some uv protectors in it. Still gotta add some more striping and finish my tailgate. I will post again after that, hopefully I will get better with the wife's camera by then.
