    Mr. Pauza,

Please step away from the meth dispenser and turn in your crack pipe. I want all of your acid tabs this time, too. You have clearly had enough fun for one man!

    Rich!!!!!

Man, I sit here all day and work with just about every tube bending and roll bending application on the planet. That is my job and I love it!

It looks like you share the same interests as I do. You are a true artist!

Thanks for keeping the roll bending thread alive!

Now youse guys know why I voted for Rich in the "Great Fabricator" thread last week. The guy's a genius.

Did I mention I also hate him for his talent? Hate hate hate hate him ;-)

Anyone here use one of those benders that Eastwood has in their catalogue? Good enough for (.065 and/or .083) 'moly tubing?

I built this one a couple of years ago to roll flat bar and square tubing for the lakes modified project.

Movin - the bends in the pics are all 1.0 - 1.25 or 1.625

I designed and built the dies - More dia's are in the works.

The cog belts work good - but you need both - the chain set up might be better.

This is the 4th generation of this bender - Down the road, a electric servo drive would be great.

Scotty - ( meth dispenser and turn in your crack pipe )...? Nope no drugs - never.

Miller lite & Corona light but only after work - at home & never at the shop.

    Shane - Thanks again dude

YoYo - what is a ( obsessive-compulsive disorder? ) if it's a case were you dream up shit almost impossable ( time wize & dollar wize ) to build with the tools & skills at my disposal, then I got it......Some times I think im not happy till I see other builder's & car owners shake there heads & walk away mumbling after seeing my stuff.

Al - sorry You hate me bro...........lol

I will find some shop pics.

Thanks to all - I love hearing comps.

    Rich

    I'm looking for a bender to do some 4130 for me. I will ship six pieces 1-1/2" X.058 and 1-3/8" X .058. I need 90* bends on one end on a 9" Cl. R.
The tubing is coming from St Louis and I am in Dallas TX. Any help???

Yep, that's it. And you certainly have done that.

Thanks for the pics. Awesome stuff. My cable is XX slow tonight, what I've seen so far makes my mouth water, I'll look at the rest when it's fixed. Very, very cool.

Let's keep the roll bending thread alive!

    More pics or questions.

  17. I bought some 6" solid steel casters 3" wide. (inner bore for the shaft diameter is 1.25") They have 1.5" long needle bearings with provisions for greasing. Picked them up at the PIR swap for $5 they are in like new condition.

Is there any way to tell if these would work (be strong enough) for the 2 outboard wheels on a roll bender?

I'm not sure on that. I have heard of plenty of guys using them for a home made roll bender. I'm sure it would depend on the size of tube, how thick and tight you wanted to roll the material.

I built this ring roller to bend the 1" tube for the cowl edge.

I've used it for a bunch of other things since then like the handwheel for my English wheel adjuster.

A little crude, but here's an old Whitney angle bender we use to bump bend 3/4 rod. Probably a little dangerous, been repaired many times, but still kicking, almost got rid of it, but we keep using it,so it stays.

Don't have a clue, bought it from a dealer years ago for $150. Guess he didn't think it was worth anything, but it's great for free form bending. Use it mostly for sculpture now.
