I only wish I had pics of a twin turbo setup I got a ride in back in 73. Dont know the turbo nbrs but they were on a 455 Olds bored .060. When he popped the clutch it felt like Rosey Greer had hit me in the back with a 10 foot 2x12. :)

Unfortunately Randy died from complications after a gallbladder op in 74. Not sure what ever happened to the 32 5 window.

I do have a rebuilt McCullogh VS57 if anyone needs a second one. :D

A friend of mine knows the guy who owns and built this car. He has seen the 9 second timeslips it is capable of producing.

[IMG] I saw this car cruising around the columbus Goodguys show about 4 years ago. It's the same car posted by someone else here.

  8. Here is one from Jamestown, NY One thing to consider in a project like this is massive breaking power. This guy had to tune the engine down alot because the even at idle at an intersection,it wanted to push on forward.

When I read the title of this post, I was expecting stupidity (and wasn't entirely let down...), but there are some neat pictures and ideas from a fabrication standpoint. I had no idea there were so many of these contraptions out there...

This one is still my favorite. The personal Carroll Shelby Super Snake 66 Cobra with a 427, a cross ram and dual Paxton blowers. Yes, this is the one that sold on the BJ auction for 5.5 million dollars. It is said to be an 800 horse monster in a 1500 pound car and I believe it. One of two built in 1966 (the other was bought by Bill Cosby, quickly sold and the new owner drove it over a cliff...)

Click on the picture and study. It is a beauty.

Back in the '60s Bill Waddill from Flint, MI built a Henry J with a Hemi (392?) in it. The initial effort had twin McCulloughs. I think it was an economics thing because later he ran a 6-71. There is picture in the new book by his daughter Kathy Ridley: The Original Hot Rodder.

  26. I don't think the Chile miners would touch those two girls if they were sent down to them, even after 30 days being traped below the earth!
