I'm not much for black t-shirts--has anyone seen any thing new in white??

    I like thrift store finds.

  3. White? well that would not work for me as I am either in the shop working building hot rods or at a event and then I am crawling around either looking under cars or dresses! And, it's a proven fact that beer stains in white T-shirts stay. I did see one the other day in white that said " Support Your Local T.U.R.D." (Trailerd and Undriven Rod Division) Just giving grief! My wife wishes I could wear white!

You need to simply buy one...or have one designed and silk-screened for your business...???

If the first, tell me your size (PM me an address) and let me see what I have in my stash (I design and silkscreen) and I'll send you a "local" rod run shirt...cool...???
If the second, tell me what you have in mind and I'll work up a design. Cool.

  8. Go to a car show, most give them to the entrants, or at least sell some cool show shirts.

When I screened shirts as a hobbyist in the late-70s-early 80s, I used only white, yellow, medium blue, red, kelly green 50-50 Cotton/polyster t-shirts and also some "sport" shirts which were a tan/white body with, either red, blue, green yoke and sleeves. I used fabric ink rather than the commercial "plastic" paint which doesn't breath.
I did nothing but auto-related designs most being antique and hotrod oriented.
The black shirt "badboy" business was all in cycle stuff at that time. Since then it seems the black shirts have won the "perceived market" sweepstakes but I sold quite a few of the "sport" shirts and other colored shirts.

The only bad thing about this is somebody always rips off your designs.

GEEZ-Did you do a search here before worrying where to find a shirt that meets your standards? Or even check on line. Support the people here by buying their stuff.
