53 - 54 chevy

im new on here from kansas where the cars rust great lol anyways i just want to see how many people have a 53 or 54 chevy i have a 53 business coupe with a built 283 roll cage fuel cell lightened up to 3000 pounds raced in the late 50s early 60s it also has a louved hood on it o and it means business

Cool ride man. I have a 53 2dr sdn. Mild custom. Frenched grill and headlights. lowered, ect. Running a buick 350 w/at. Was dads fathers day gift in 89. Rustedout stocker then. We worked on it together. He passed away in 97 a gave it to my then 3 month old daughter. Still driving it today!!! Movin to Kansas this summer. Going to be in the Topeka area. Should hook up sometime.

thats cool man im about a half hour from topeka but me and the boys around here have a car club the kansas outlaws not real big yet about 20 or so guys in it i had a 54 bel air 2dr before this one it was a stocker and rusty

Thats cool. I lived in Lyndon and Burlingame 15 yrs ago. Working on getting the 53 and my 48 Jimmy ready for the drive back there. Still trying to figure out how the F to attach pics to a post. Computers and I do not always get along. Guess Im too old.

Welcome, I picked up a 54 Belair about a month ago and it should be on the road in a couple weeks.If I ever update my picture software from windows xp over to vista,I may actually post some pics. ENJOY!!...

 

Alas.. mine is a '49.. But I am putting a Buick Nailhead in it... should sound and run nice when I'm done.

I've always like the '54 body style.. just look too cool.
