I heard a S 10 tailshaft housing can be installed on a F body T-5 and they are a bit stronger.

Have Rosie watch the joint for a couple hours.

  9. The only ride close to being ready to drive WON'T be done in time...and I think there will only be two of us instead of three. But we should still be there.

I guess I'm getting Bob's engine/trans from someone, picking up a 6 and a 4 from Stevo's place, then going to New Carlisle for a 54 3/4 ton truck chassis. Anyone else need anything from the great white (wet) north? I'm taking my 1 ton dually and a flat bed and Courtland get's to drive. I'm taking a nap.

Hope to reach Stevo's place FIRST, then on to the M&G.

Hey just a heads up. I was at Midwest Early Ford in Springfield (2141 West Main St. about 15 mins from The get together) and they're having a walk-in sale. Check it out. You can call to see if they have what you need in stock. 800-543-5035.

It was nice to see the cars that showed up today. I wish I had known some of you guys before I went. Perhaps I will be able to drive my truck under its own power for the next one. Does anyone around here go to Pigeon Forge for the Rod runs in April and September?

I totally missed it because I forgot/had other plans. (finished CCW course)

I'll see you guys at some of the shows and cruise-in's I guess....

And it'd still be great to save Cinematic somehow.

    Now let's see some pics!

Hey Vance, lets get together with Mike (Kustombuilder) and get your trans back up here. He's going to go right by here on his way through.

Bob, you'd better bring a big truck to get this anchor out of the SS Bull. It is one heavy son of a bitch!

Nice to meet who I did. I was kind of zombied by the turn out, was really cool. I don't realize how lucky us GMBs have it. When we have a M&G breakfast, most of us know each other. You guys live just a town over from each other and have never met. It was cool that you did it once, now do it again, like bi-monthly!!

I'll come to another one. It was fun. I enjoyed talking to you all and thanks for the load help!

Thanks Dan, I'll call him. I've got a couple DVDs for his IPod that I'm sure he's itchin for.

I'm all for doing a Meet & Greet on a more regular basis. Hell, I'll even be willing to host one; I've got a huge back yard, and a monster sized deck. Let's look into this for a spring or summer M&G.

Guys I had a great time meeting everybody.
A few of us mentioned networking with each other. Click on my profile and subscribe to my group Ohio/Indiana swap meet and theres another group by Terranova called Ohio in my profile.

Join these groups and network etc. etc..

We were talking and a few of us said if I just knew of somebody going to a meet somewhere they would be more comfortable driving their old cars with original engines but without support the cars stay at home.
I know I have done this with my flathead equiped 49. I had a water pump seize on me and was lucky I made it home on my own.
Having another car with you or a cell number changes that.

I will help with what I can. Relay, body work, welding, drink your beer, eat your food! etc.
