Steering wheel from what? Help please.

I have no idea what this wheel came off of. Do any of you know? It has rings all the way around the grip. Thanks.

 

The DPCD emblem says Chrysler product. The part number, 1272165, will tell which one. It will be in the mid-late 30s.

 

It's a 51-52 Dodge pickup steering wheel. I just had one identical to it.

 

That spoke spacing is kinda funky, but I like it. In a stock Dodge... the tighter spokes are at the top, or the bottom?

It fits 1951 and 1952 Dodge pickup trucks like I said. Only used those 2 years and only in the trucks. I am 100% sure. Why the BTT?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to stir up any shit here. But if you do a Google image search or an eBay completed items search, you'll see that's what it is.

I post on here too looking to ID stuff, the last thing I posted ended up being part of a mantle clock. I always appreciate the help. But when someone gives me a lead "that's from a '48 Nash" or something like that, then I'll go check it out to confirm that it's right, and if it is, done deal. That's all I'm sayin'.
