Yeah, look for the Meijer store and the Home Depot. It's on the same side as the Home Depot. White building with green trim... pretty original, huh?

I dont know how "done" mine will be, but I am hoping it will be done enough to get it to Quaker Steak and Lube.

Well, my rod is nowhere near ready to drive so if I show up in my wife's Mountaineer will I be blackballed from the meet? I would really like to get out and meet some of you, and my wife even gave me permission! :D

Drive whatever you want. If the weather is nice I'll be in the ford. If not, I'll be in the truck. Hey Turbo bring the wife along, this is as much about the people ( one of the best parts of this crazy life) as it is about the cars. So come one come all. And if ya get a chance, say a little prayer for sun.:D

Just show up!!! This is about the people. Sure it would be nice to see some cars, but if the weather doesn't cooperate, we're all driving our dailys.

I'll drive one of the three Falcons...Sprint if nice, Convertible if warm, or Wagon if so-so, looking forward to meeting some HamBer's in the area....

And I won't be driving my no matter what the weather is like. Friday afternoon I finally got to install my short throw shifter for my T-5 and I guess the shifter was more than the T-5 could bear witness to.

About a half a mile from the house on the way home from testing the shifter, I rounder the third to last turn, got the coupe straightened out and laid into the throttle. I laid into it enough to get the slick smoking and reached for the shifter. I slammed second and the most horrid noise I've heard in a LOOOONG time came from beneath. I slipped the clutch back in and coasted for about 3/8 of a mile to the second to last turn. I made that turn and finally stopped. I tried rolling the car in and out of gear to narrow down what the actual issue was. I figured it was the trans and hoped I still had enough to get me the short four houses to reach my own driveway. So I started it back up and slooooowly let the clutch out, started moving and heard some nasty noises, but I was rolling. I rolled for about thirty feet and whatever was loose in the case locked it up and made me come to a dead stop. So I did all that again, three more times until I reached the stretch of street in front of my own house. Luckily the neighbor kid was home and saw me starting and stopping. He came out of his house and helped me push the coupe up the driveway. Man, I HATE inclined driveways!!!

Therefore, now I'm officially in the market for a new T-5. Nevertheless, this time I'm going to insist on it coming out of a V8 car or truck. I proved the point about putting a 4-cyl. tranny behind even a stock V8. Not a wise decision; least not with how I drive.

Jen and I will still be there, just without the coupe.

    See you all Saturday!

OH CRAP! That sucks Vance. I'll keep my eyes open for another T-5. If you find one this week, send me a PM and I'll help you get it installed.

Thanks Chris!!! I've got several folks looking for me. Hopefully I'll find one , (or have one found for me ;-) that I can afford.

Hmmm, my Trooper has a T-5 in it...
