Thanks Torques, the Austin bunch had a great time. Glad the weather was good ( didn't rain ) and the track was very fast. See ya at the Round Up. Good job Casey, he won enough pistons to build a new motor ( ohv I hope ).

Ed - thanks for being so bold. Sorry about the class issue. OFFICIALLY you were in the Roadster Class. Ken R. has your trophy.............I think you boogied before you got frostbite.
    Good seeing you, as usual.

Just wanted to thank the Torques for a great time!! It was so Kool that
it was almost cold. Had a great time talkin to my Texas friends. Lot of
kool Kustoms and Hot Rods in Texas. I thought that I took more pictures
but here are some that I took. I guess that I'm getting old because I missed
    a lot of kool stuff.

Hey Ken what is the vitals on the Chili. Gotta have some more!!

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

  7. Although there were a large number of great cars there, my f3 avorites were:

    1) The Widdle white wabbit..ah, what memories she brings back
    2) The gorgeous blue 1957 Ford station wagon..damn she was nice
    3) That very cool and large old time bus (the orange and black one)..how cool was that thing anyway

I've got a roadster.......and going to this show has got me ALL fired-up to get working on it. It's nothing compared to what you guys have but I need something to do for the next year anyway. Hopefully I can get it running and get it to go down the track. I know I'll lose but sounds like fun. And open up another class.Maybe I could have a "Match Race" against one of those mini-bikes. Ha-Ha.

What were every ones best times that day?

  14. It was a great show. My 4 year old and I were standing in the middle of the cackle fest. We stood for about 5 minutes when she tugged on my jeans and said "Dad, my eyes hurt". Then she wanted to know why her eyes hurt. Have you ever tried to explain to a 4 year old why their eyes burn when standing next to a dragster. I have to admit, she was pretty cute in her earmuffs.

LOL.... BubbaLuv said he was gonna pic up your troff but he skinned out early also, guess you can add 2009 to your signature. Good seeing you and all the Chups...take care

  19. From what I understand, it is a survivor car. It's from the Tulsa area. It was raced in the 70's if I remember correctly. That's about the extent of my knowledge of the car.

He takes to a lot of shows in the area. It is a kool car.

Just a Bitchin' Show! Awesome Thawsome>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
With Casey takin' in 7 trophies he probably had to "cut" his t-shirt off!
My first Thaw, sure as hell not my last....................

  28. I made it our Saturday and caught all the racing and the car show. Both were outstanding and well worth braving the cruel Texas elements. Kudos to the band for all the crap they had to put up (literally) they were great as well. I have some 4 small videos I took with my crackberry that are kinda decent and give you a flavor, one is the Wabbit against the Scorpion, another has the blown 'A'. PM an email address if anyone wants a copy.

I am fired up for next year! Great job all!

I liked it so much I bought the Tshirt!
