So here are the pics I got today. Great 1st show and wish i would have stayed longer and met some of the hambers. Wish it wasnt so windy. I bet some of the racers wished to same. Tracked looked to be a little hairy. Great show guys! Enjoy the pics!

Here are all the lo-res pics. If any one wants one in particular. Just PM me.
    Anything going on tomorrow? :)

What a great job the Torques did with the show .Friday night and today I ran the car over twenty times . Got my car down to 6.70 and was still blowing the tires on the back end of the track not bad for the first time ever on a track.Had a blast looking forward to the next time 31 BBC blown coupe.

Thanks to all the folks that came out and froze their butts off with us. We appreciate it more than we can say. We did have a few "problem"
folks, well just really one, and they won't be invited back to play next year.
We had nearly a hundred cars run the track and over 60 in the show side. Everyone had fun, and no one got hurt. YOU CAN"T BEAT THAT!!

THANKS FROM THE TORQUES TO EVERYONE THAT CAME OUT AND ALL OUR HELP AND SPONSORS, AND THE POOR VENDORS THAT FROZE THEIR ASS OFF AND NEARLY BLEW AWAY!!

    Honest Abe........lol

Right after we broke the Red Ford's transmission a kid came up and asked what I was doing?...........A long time ago I decided to not bullshit the kids, so my answer was..I am having a cold beer.........he deadpanned, NO, on the track!...we all laughed and told him that it was time trials.........and HEY..there's a Funny car over there..why don't ya go look at it...

  26. The pictures are great!!!The sun and all makes it look like a fine spring day.WRONG!!!
I enjoyed the show from the seat of our truck..Wind was terrible!!!!Also wait for food was much to long ...Maybe should have called show THE CHILL instead of THAW...
Good on every thing else.....See everyone next time tho...

Man what a blast, Tore my tranny up in the parking lot so pops lets to me take the fresh Anglia down the track. It was a BLAST! to say the least. That baby pulls hard, thanks to DOC for letting load my sedan on his trailer and bringing it back to the shop!!! I got to drive the big block COupe hope. that think would get me in some serious trouble!

Thanks to the Torques for a great time. Now I gotta get in the shower and THAW!

Next year Texas Timing need to park in the back. They were worse than a bunch of street rodders at NSRA event trying to park together

Well, the kids were sick this week so my wife had to make up the work on saturday so I was stuck at home. Looks like once again I missed a good time.

    Two questions:

    1. What is the story on the green Willys?

    2. Who is the Texas Timing Association?

:)thank you torques club for a great show. The slow pokes and blue river car clubs from ardmore had a blast. For those who could not make it this year. The weather was very cold but, the hospitality warmth well made up for it. This is a great group, and they put on a great show. Sorry we could not get scorpion 5 fired on that last push start but the old weather was to cold. Hope to see every one in ardmore may 30, e-mail me for racer motel room rates and information. Thanks again for the great weekend...rob ragland/ardmore dragway.
