Flippin' epic show.....

Not much this week;an old suitcase I found in an antique shop,a work-in-progress panel for a friend,and a piece of yard art(artist unknown)given to me to decorate for a pinstriper's charity auction.Still need to add more paint.

 

The show is just too good this week to not contribute, although the car is not exactly HAMB friendly.

 

This week should go into some kind of hall of fame vault.

My only regrets are a few favorites are missing:
Flying P, GuiseArt, TINGLER, Ubermustang, Buick59, NATAS and so on, and so on...

 

This week's really is the best of the best. Nothing sub-par and A LOT of great stuff. Wish I had something good to add this week, so I could be a part of "The Best Damn Thread Ever."

To Del Swanson and Steve Austin: Thank you for sharing Steve Austin's art...I was an avid reader of CarToons as a kid and I have to believe CarToons played a large part in my becoming an automotive designer...His work and CarToons was a really big influence upon me so please say a big 'Thank You' from a big fan!!

I called my stepmother last weekend and asked her to dig out all my old childhood work and to see if I had any CARtoons magazines still. Man, that magazine started all this buzz in my head! If I get anything back I will post it for a laugh.

Love the Steve Austin cartoons, thanks for including them Del, very cool. Tell him he should post more often. I still have one old cartoons issue w/ a couple jeeps on the front. My dad found it while cleanin the basement out a while back. It's the only one I have and it's totally cool to look at.

Great stuff here as always! It has been a while since last time i posted anything here now, of various reasons. I have made some stuff though. Not all motor related, but some surf related too, and creating new concepts and so on. There are a huge pile with rough drafts who just wait to be finished. Oh yes, also working on others projects so much of my time are spend on that...anyhoo, a few of the new! More to come...

Tomorrow is Pinewood derby day for 10 year old Matthew. He designs the cars and I
