A buddy dropped by this AM and told me about this old guy he knows that is talking about selling all his old cars he's been collecting over the years. The old Gentleman is an old gear head and knows what his stuff is worth so there are no steals but its all for sale. Here's the pics I took this AM. Not parting anything ouy. Have to buy complete vehicles

Most of this stuff is cancer free.

This is an old Diamond Rio truck. He said it was all there. He had taken it apart many years ago cause the wood was rotten and getting ready to fall apart anyway.

    Damned buick nailheads rusting away.

This one is out of an old race boat. He said he had two factory 2x4 setups complete with factory air cleaners and aluminum valve covers locked up in his shop . Price ....1500 each.

What aren't pictured are the 4 or 5 old school busses loaded with parts. I didn't have time to look through them. Saving that for another day.

Finally, A guy who wants to sell and isnt a clown.
I dont have an issue with paying what threy're worth, wether to me or to the owner. I mean, if its not worth it to me maybe the next guy wants it more.
I'm just glad to hear he's not chasing you off with a 12g.
    so many standard stories.....carsinbarns.com.
Be careful, this will break your heart.

probably a longshot,...did you see any 29 Dodge Coupe doors?
    I need a drivers side.
A door off a 4 door car will work, and I think a 30 Dodge is the same.

WOW what a find and the old man let you go looking at all his cars !
Most would run you off with a shotgun . I hope he can get what they are worth and no one pisses him off and then can't get them at all . Let us all know whats in the busses . There might be some super rare finds in there . I mean look at the boat nailhead with all the goodies still there ! :D

I dont want to give out his number yet, He was nice enough to let me look around and take some pics. I told him I new some folks that might be interested in a few of them. I'll get in touch with him in a few days and see if he wants to get flooded with calls or just let me run interference for him. He did say that what ever price he puts on them is not negotiable. Take it or leave it. you want a piece you buy the whole thing. He's a pretty smart old codger and has some nice rides that are not for sale. 49 buick, model T, late 30s cabover, 57 chevy.

Thought I'd bring this back to the top. I've been talking to the guy that has all this old stuff and he said it was ok to give out his phone #. If anyone sees anything their interested in here send me a PM. By the way this stuff is about 45 min NW of Fort Worth off of 199. Dont expect dirt cheap prices and He doesn't want to part anything out. Hes pretty much up on what stuff is worth.

  29. Guy's been smart laying low, you can't imagine the BS you get trying to get what things are worth and not parting things out.
