Features Alllllll the Longroofs.....Let's see 'em boys

  1. . Here's my first car, my 56 210 4door wagon. It's been 20 years now....And its still around ( with not much thanks to me.) The rear door handles were the first things to go. It's a 235-6 with a 3-speed.
Heres a very cool chevy bus, 1 of 2 made, at the volo auto museum, and finally a custom 56 ElCamino made from a 56 2door 210 wagon which An old boss had, R.I.P. George Flondor (Bump n' Grind auto body)

  2. As you all know I'm a wagon freako too. Here's one a friend of mine from Houston did. 63 Chev Wagon made into a 2 dr with stretched doors. Back in the '80's I did lot's of striping for him when he owned a body shop. Always had some cool cars and both of us were nuts over anything wagon...blazer, suburbans, deliveries, panels, etc. Probably one of the first guys that took a perfectly nice '65 Carryall and chopped the top. Was kool.

DAMN YOU!!! This is one of my dream cars. (I know. I'm weird). If I had a metric ass-ton of money, I'd be flying out there and making you an offer.

If you consider $2650.00 cash on a bill of sale only with $400.00 to tow it out of the woods to a shipper of your choice "a metric ass-ton of money" OK then it is.

If not here's the lowdown and If you want it keep in mind.

It needs everything and has been sitting for 25+ years. it has a soso ft clip, missing some parts and there's a critter that lives under the hood :D

I can send more pix to you, but I'm not taking anyone out to see it on location...:D

No negotiations, might trade for something cool or useful (see my site)?

    Mike

    This is my longroof.
I started with this Jeep Wagoneer at the end of 2001.
The plan was A daily driver. But after several engine problems and A rear axle breakdown I put it aside in 2004. :(
Now I am ready with the work on my COE Truck. :D
So I pulled the Jeep out of the corner.
In the past I already put a 1980 Jaguar front axle under it and lowered the back 8".
    Behind the buick 350 engine I hade put a TH200 4R automatic.
Now I replaced the buick with A chevy engine, and am puting a 1993 Ford Thunderbird IRS under the back. After that, the plans are air suspention and 4 bucket seats.

This is how it lookt like when I bought it in 2001

I've been casually looking for a longroof for about 3 yrs now. I think I'd like to get a first gen nova, roundbody falcon, or a 50's 'burb. Whenever I find one that is in good shape AND affordable, life seems to get in the way (read: bills, etc).

Here is some 'longroof artwork' I did for some of the guys in my car club:

    Thanks!

I'd like to put the top one on some shirts and stickers (I've managed to get the bottom one on shirts already:D), but haven't figured out a way to drum up enough interest. I think I'd need to get 36 orders on shirts in order to make it worthwhile. For now though, it'll have to just serve as my desktop background.

  12. I'll give you TRIPLE that!!! LOL:cool::eek: Looks like a hell of a starting point!

All right, I'm new here & I just got a longroof, an 87 Custon Cruiser Olds.
I'm working on it so my son & I can take it to cruise-ins this summer, I drive it a few days a week.
I've got a set of rally wheels for it, so when the weather gets better I'll get them mounted up.
