please post lots of pics of beating the nose into life. are you going vertical or horizontal on the grill? (tube or slat?) you will need some googles too!
<p> KIRK is pretty quick, so I dont if I can hit him in the nose and take pictures at the same time. but I'll try just for you. The grill is going to be slat, and vertical. think the Barney Navarro T just taller The nose starts tonight I'll take lost of pics. I hope to have update #7 next week!
if you were to go with heavy woven mesh, where would you get it? (will be needing some for my impending project) thanks. Matt: Navarro style is going to be spot on!
Matt is. I have to get some stuff ready for May Cause Dangerous and the show this weekend. I'll be down at the shop tomorrow night.
I Know that the Legion SPL is going to be Kick Ass Bitchin when ready!! Cant wait to see it in person.. Notch
Do you think you will be driving by year end? Maybe bring it out to Scottsdale and do donuts in the grass with it.
That's the idea. Hey, be sure to check out the lead spread in the Lone Star Nationals coverage in the March Gazette!!!
This is not funny!........I am waiting here patiently for the build pics on this one and you go ahead and just through out a little tease. Your wrong!!!!.......lol.........Hurry the hell up I want to see this thing.
You guys freakin' rule... and know that that six-banger is from a legend. Barnes set the mile and et record, and won every race in his division when he and Barona debuted their buick Opel in 1970 in the M/P class. (and then they rolled it several times at the '76 March meet.) Engines are art. Know that.... that's a nice piece, and quite possibly the last sixer that he built...
Kirk, we don't know each other, but we spent about an hour together in that damn A-L line last Thursday evening. I thought I'd include a picture of one of my cars 'cause it looks like the underpinnings of the modified that you're building. Saw your '60 in the show, very nice! Keith.
Cool and thanks! I was over at Matt's shop last night and he's due to post an update. I made some totally shitty welds on the tube steering support (where they won;t be seen) and Matt worked one the nose section some more. He wasn't happy with the piece he made last night, but is making killer progress. I'm hoping to have the steering box mounted tonight.
