  2. Those look like the Thompson/Parker ones without their name. Maybe made for Kellison on an OEM deal??

I have a set of Imperial covers and one of them also has the same fittings as yours, would like to know why also

  4. Not all that rare. They came on all solid lifter hemis. The dimples were there to clear the exhaust rocker slack adjuster stud. You'll find them on: '55 300 (331 cid dual 4bbl), '56 300 (354 cid dual 4bbl), '57 & '58 300 (392 cid dual 4bbl), Chrysler industrial 331 & 354 as well as Marine 331 and 354. Chrysler never made 392 industrial (and truck) or marine engines, only 331 and 354.

The Imperial covers only came on the '58 model. All others had the "Chrysler Fire Power" covers.

Both the marine and industrial versions had, either, embossed or decaled covers. The decaled versions seem to be the rarer of the two versions.

Anyone have a good picture of the early Hemi truck valve covers with the Power Giant decal on them?

I'm currently running the dimpled Firepower covers but like the look of the Jr Thompson covers on his website. Is anybody here running them?

This is the engine in Wendell Scott's 1954 Dodge racecar hauler, just as I found it. He had put a DeSoto Hemi in it.

I knew the dimples weren't rare and the IMPERIAL covers aren't terribly rare either, and have seen tons of IMPERIAL covers, but not a single one had dimples. Neat-O!

Oh LOOOORD I need some of those!!! Those are AWESOME!!!

I wanted to use the Dodge Red Ram embossed valve covers but I have adjustable rockers(didn't want to use adjustable push rods). I had Rocker Arms Specialty modify my exhaust rockers (they are the ones that the dimples are for). They modified rockers work great and I can use my Red Ram valve covers..

You want valve covers, you got valve covers!! The photo is a bit old (like about 50 years), but this is the engine that I ran in my 34 Ford 5 window coupe when in high school and then later, in my 40 Ford coupe. The striping was done by a high school friend of mine by the name of Bob Stone. He striped valve covers, gas tanks, fenders, sun glasses, anything that would stand still long enough to get a brush to it. Of course my old Hemi valve covers don't compare much to what guys run today, but in 1957-1958 they were pretty cool.

  26. When you say you make "these" valve covers, which ones are you referring to - the ones Choppa bought over there in OZ?

  27. I had a guy send me a picture saying he had my air cleaner and valve covers on his coupe. I told him the air cleaner looked great but the valve covers weren't mine. Can anyone identify them?
