  10. Here's some photos from my old Rod 'n Race Fiberglass files. We build all the removable body parts except the body shell if you need some bits & pieces.

Some dick stole my "J" in Miami Fla. jan.1965,I got a report from a buddy that saw it stripped at a junkyard just out side Atlanta Ga. in 1967.
He said it looked very bad,but he could tell it had been my "J",he had helped me do some of the work and was in the know,I did not even try to get what was left back, knowing if he said it was real bad it was in deed.
    So long gone.
I still had most of my 28 "A" roadster any way, after selling off some of the parts,I got a Wife in 65 and new house needed some $. No extra for going after lost loves.:(

Hello, and thank you .. Heres my project..

from what Ive seen so far, Im having a hard time in deciding what direction to go.. as you see, theres a 100" WB S10 Blazer frame underneath. with a Brand new S10 Floor behind the car... Now, I do have the original frame here.. I wanted at first to do a straight axle.. but my budget says NO.. also prior to joining here. it was hard getting info on what would be suitable for a straight axle and how to go about getting it all to work.. I know I talked to Mr Von Hartmann a while ago.. and he was very helpful..
Only thing is I could not find a Willys Straight axle.. Im in Western canada.. theres not much around here, including hot rod shops..
So the Goal in incorperate Old with the New.. Could I get guided if you all have time to spare? as for for the Henry J sites.. The info and pictures are Really good .. but Getting 1 on 1 help is kinda hard.. I think the site is a little more different than here..

My Project seems like its a 20 year in the makings car.. Im hoping for sooner..

  18. Love those Henry J's...missed out on one a little while back...still kicking myself for that one

  22. no -- the pic is just representative of a Goober

  23. At least as may as Js. But most of them were/are mistaken for Henry Js.

No one ever rolls into the hot dawg stand and says hey what do ya think of my all state.
I drove a very quick All State @ PIR when I was in highschool. Most everyone (includeimg me) thought it was a J.

Man, you just can't go wrong with a well done, straight axle Henry J. I'd love to have one someday. Anyone here own this one?
