Mopar 3x2 tunnel ram by weiand factory part number p3690982 - 7254 used on 440s rare intake sold for over 400.00 new in 1975 + or - . Its a ringer but factory .c

 

Didn't some of the industrial Hemi's have dual one barrels.

 

Here's the "M"-series 340hp 390 T-bird setup in my '63 'Bird. No part # cast into it but it did have all the other Ford stuff (TM logo, date code behind thermostat/expansion tank outlet, firing order). Carbs sit level because engine sat level in the 'Bird. 401-hp 390 for Galaxie had a stairstep manifold because the engine was tilted in the full-size Ford/Merc, and no outlet under the center carb for PCV.

 

I got a few tri-power setups, this is on my 64 Galaxie. Factory for 61, 62, 63, and a dealer option in 64.

I have a 1940 Buick 320" Straight 8 with compound carbs. I could not find a casting number on the intake manifold. Lucky667

A few pics of the super marauder option on the 58 mercury 430 cu in., consisted of a tri power system, cool air cleaner and awesome valve covers, fuel outlet w/ attached filter, pretty rare most of them left are on other vehicles.

Does the 430 Super Marauder intake have a casting number on it? I have one at home and remember looking all over for a number without success.

 

I dont think so but if you email me some pics of it I can probably identify it for you, there is numerous aftermarket ones that do have names and numbers, and I have a lot more pics.

 

Take another look, and see if it is actually 9782898, if so 1966 Pontiac.

I looked all over as well to help locate parts for mine and there is not one number on the Super Marauder intake except for the firing order. I even have a 58 service manual that does not have the tri power set up in it. I have lots of literature I have to read through on the tri power from the guy I bought it from. If I come across anything I will post it. I am not sure if the optional Edelbrock L-300 intake has any other numbers either but L-300 is a nice give-away. As for the factory Super Marauder you just kind of have to know what it looks like to know what it is if someone selling one does not know! Then you can usually get a deal! Otherwise the intake alone goes for $550+ and the carbs and air cleaner make the price around $5,000! One is on ebay right now. Edelbrock has 3 and 4 bolt versions and you can drill for the 4th if yours has 3 bolt. Engine photo is my spare 462 with intake mocked up.

 

Looking at that intake spacing, I winder if that could be run with an intake adapter atop a Poly or Hemi... and vice-versa! Hmmmm...

Oh probally could be machined to except 2x2. I'm not all the attached to this one, I dont have a hemi to put it on yet. You could say I was trying to build it from the top down.Bought it a swap meet a year or so ago. Came with 2 sets of "rebuilt" Carbs & linkages as well as the remainder of the rebuild kits.

I also have this one but its not factory.It fits in place of a Rochester Mechanical fuel inj set up for the early Chev V8's.
I have not purpose for this one either.I just like collecting multi carbed manifolds I guess....

That 4-Stromberg log manifold piece is absolutely unique and COOL! And talk about ingenuity! Just think - back in the 1950's - General Motors engineers spending hundreds of thousands of dollars and thousands of hours designing and perfecting their mechanical fuel injection - just so some hot rodder can come along and figure out a way to adapt 1930's Stromberg carbs to it!!!
