I always look forward to the Friday Art Shows. So much talent in such varied mediums.

    O/T
I while back I followed a link from a post in the show to one of the artist's gallery's with prints for sale. There was a painting of Frankenstein sitting in a booth at a bar with the Bride of Frankenstein sitting at the bar. The title was "Last Call" or something like that. If anyone knows the artist, I'd appreciate at link. I'm looking to buy a copy of the print if I can ever find it again.
    Thanks,
    Matt

    Jeral,
you rock my man, your sketches are amazing, especially that book and it's pages flipping open ... sweet. ripper art show coming up around the corner, can't wait to see your piece in person, it's gonna be awesome!
    Grace and peace,
    CAB

  25. Awesome work Britt....

  26. Unreal. What a great show. I would like to commend everyone and thank you all
for giving us your best from week to week.

i went to post some sketches last night (early this A.M.) but couldn't get Photobucket
to drop in the images. They'd copy okay but wouldn't paste into the message box.
    So I went to bed...

Sketch book, scrap paper and post-its...Some of these are ground work for bigger projects and will be more fully rendered...

This is the 1936 Buick Special roadster. It is built with a 1940s NorCal influence...

    a mild custom '63 Chevy

A design one of my kids says they saw tho I don't think was ever used on Futurama...

  27. Here is something I did last year for a fellow HAMB'er Fritztownford. Laser cut sign from his logo. The edge angles on the triangular pieces for the elevated star were cut on a CNC machine so they would all line up when assembled
    [IMG][IMG] [IMG]

  28. Here are a few more...

Concept roughs for a pretty cool guy named Charlie (I think I'm too late with this one)

The top could be fixed, lift off, or each of the two 'glass' sections independently removed. It would be imbedded with subtle 'flake' tho anything too metallic could be dangerous on a sunny day. The body color is similar to that used on the "53 LeSabre show car.

I'm partial to this front end treatment. The grill could be punched stainless or plexi/lucite
    like the roof...

This is a modified version of my stock V-6 '92 Dakota (long gone)

    ...and this? Well,...this is...this..........

(man those posted really big! The Dakota sketch is about 1/2 this size on paper.)
