That was taken at speedworld here in PHx. I met that guy. Cool ol Crazy fcker. Set back 351 windsor, sprayed, auto. Stock Steering and as I recal stock suspension. He showed me pics of him blowing the transmission....amazin.

He bought it from a guy when he lived in Minesota. The rear is clipped with a four link.

When I met him he had just updated his brakes to a dual master cylinder...

This one from page 12 is at the shop getting a couple things right now. The owner's had it for a long time apparently. They had one piece side and rear doors made in glass. It's panel only now and the two front doors are suicide. It's been off the road for a bit but they fired it up the other day. We're finishing a couple of things and then it's going back on the road for a while in primer to put around in. Fun looking little thing.

I'm pretty confident the Heavy Duty thing is the 9 inch rearend. I was just looking at one the other day that was a military truck and it had a factory 9 inch in it. It was still a 6 cylinder. I'm wondering if there wasn't some other suspension difference for hauling but I didn't get a chance to really look it over much more than that.

I have a '61 - 3 window I am doing, just ready to put it on a rotory frame jig to do the belly.

I am doing a "frame off" restoration??????

Easy to do, drop the rear & front ends, the heater, and then the steering column, and presto frame off!

What about, dropping the rear for a gasser look?? After the trend passes, back to stock, or lower the front to match the rear.

Here is my 64 Econoline. I am currently redoing the interior and it will get some fresh paint in the spring. I also added some vintage comics for fun...
