    My son is thinking about changing the look of his homebuilt truck, while the truck looks great now, he thinks a wheel & tire change would be more in theme with the rest of the truck.

    Here are his two wheel/tire choices:

    Wide whitewalls & red Steelies (with beauty rings & center caps if possible)

    Wide whitewalls & chrome reverse rims with bullet center caps

    Will poll the H.A.M.B. Members as to which looks better :confused:

    The truck has a 3/4 race 1952 Merc flatty with a S-10 5 Speed, Ford 9 inch. on Air Ride. The truck is now running Boyd Coddington 18 x 9 rear & 17 x 7 front <!-- attachments -->

    without fulfilling your photoshop request...first thing i'd do is toss those boydington wheels as far as i could and replace them with some steelies or some nice chrome wheels with baby moon caps.
    those wheels, in my opinion, do not go on the 30's vehicles. they are okay on the donk-mobiles and such but not on the classics.
    my 2 cents worth.

    This might not be exactly what you were looking for but I couln't help myself.

    Chopped the cab a few inches and added red steelies with wide whites and 2nd with chrome and bullet center caps.

    I can post it unchopped if you prefer.

    One more with black steelies and whites and a little more muted paint tone.

  8. I like it better already! If you could, send one unchopped with black steelies.

    Thanks for your help!

    ...if anybody else wants to give it a try go ahead!

    Now rip the fenders off and paint some mexican hookers on the side!!!!

    JK, that is a nice truck and any of the suggested wheel and tire combos will be a vast improvement!

    BTW..that beige is bitchin!!!

    I say uncopped red wires or solids with 46 caps. but the truck is yours the only person you have to please is yourself, don't go by pole results.
