Well, It's been a year since My dad and I were LUCKY enough to pull TWO Black 32' Ford Three windows out of storage. So, I thought I'd ring in the New Year with the NEWEST 32' find.

IT'S NOT FOR SALE!! I'm borrowing it for a car show here in Cincinnati next weekend. I have a big display for UNRESTORED Hot rods and race cars.

This SWEET little coupe has been owned by the current owner for nearly 50 years! It's been stored in his basement for the last 30. He's owned gassers and drag cars. He was and still is a BIG TIME 409 guy... But he was smart enough to never tear this one apart or hurt it in anyway.

The BEST PART is, I asked him if I could use it for the show, and he said "yeah sure" So I said, "I'd like to get it to my shop the week before the show so I can have the tires aired up, car ready, and loaded in the trailer the day of move in." (and I wanted to see if I could get it running!) So I asked, "when can I bring the truck and trailer here to your house and load it up?"
That's when he said, "Hell, I can just drive it down to your shop. It runs fine!"

He drove it Three or Four miles to my shop Yesterday. He was laughing when he got there saying "I wish I'd a had goggles! There's a lot of dirt and dust that kicks up when you have no floor boards!"

IT IS AS RUST FREE AS IT LOOKS!!

ENJOY. ..and as they say: "They are still out there"

It's never been painted. Old Henry's Black Laq. is fading pretty good though!

I didn't go to school long enough to learn the words that would describe how jealous I am right now! What show will this be displayed at?

    I agree..THEY ARE OUT THERE.

Here is a question I have pandered over.

Of all of the '32's built, how many are really accounted for?

If you hadn't told the story, I would have guessed that the car had fake patina paint on it. It's so uniform, with no rust in the normal places, really amazing to see one in that condition.

As a kid before I even went to school, I fell in love with that exact coupe and hoped I would have one someday. But then, I wanted to be a pilot too till I found out they didn't fly bi-wing airplanes much anymore. But I never fell out of love with that 5 window coupe.
Would have loved to been eating some of that dust on the way to your shop just to get a ride on the springs.
