I want to see some gasser motors.. ford/chevy/gm/dodge etc.. I don't care. I really like gassers, I want to see what you guys got motivating them.
Here's a couple for ya'. First is in our old field find '55 B/gas. Here is in my little '66 Chevy II Gasser. And last is a picture of my friend's Two-Lane Blacktop '55 clone car.
^^^^^^^ I believe that one has just been sacrificed to Nitromethane and the car isn't a gasser. Neat picture though. Here's what I'm piecing together to put in my old Anglia that I've owned since the 70's. Larry T
I have seen this series of pics 20 times ..at least.. over the years Does anyone have them in print? Would like a poster size copy, makes for great garage art Tony
Pulled this stock motor from my Rambler and dropping it in a Willys...Too slow for the Rambler and the orange color didnt match the granny green paint
ramzoom, those roll-around engine holder upper keeps it off the floor and has casters things are awesome. might have to make up a set this weekend. Bryan
My 62 Chevy II. Nothing fancy, bored & stroked to 385ci, Dart Iron Eagle heads, 10-1 comp, hyd roller cam, etc, etc. with tunnel ram: without:
I saw your car on Pass Time... man that was the best moment on the show I've ever seen. I wish I had a car like yours. I laughed at the straight axle comment.
Here's some pics of my GASSER project - my '31 Chevy 5 window coupe... planning to drop this awesome blown 392 hemi for MOTORvation! Engine is a '58 letter A-1 block, bored 60 over displacing 410 cubes, genuine vertex mag, Moon equipped jewelery, polished everything! Will hopefully start on my original chassis shortly - maybe hitting the street/strip late this year or 2010!
Unfortunately, I do not. But I'll snap some pics very soon. You've seen my pics - no motor and tranny. The garage at my apartment has a slight down hill so I would not be able to drag the car out for good outdoor photos... I'd need a few friend's to push her back in the garage. It is what it is... Hopefully there's enough light in the garage to get some good pics! I'll see what I can do!
Your '55 is " " awesome man! Your 409 was my alternate choice if I could not find a hemi for my '31! Love that mill! Post some full car shots soon!
