Hey ,Fedman didn't you used to live in Delta on 84th?
The guy I bought it from was from that area.
    I'm down in White Rock.
I sure like your Truck, The front end is cool, and the Green colour Combo is perfect.

Bad I guess.. working on it and it won't look much like an F1 anymore, but it started life as a 1950 F1.

All the parts I'm using are somewhat correct for early to mid 50's, at least the same or similar parts were available.

The cab in the pictures was just for mock up, I'm doing the channel on the real cab this week will try to post pictures when I've got something to show. The pic shows a 6" channel, I decided to go more aggressive and it now has a 10" channel, I still want to keep the bed bottom level with the bottom of the cab, so I may have to extend the bed a bit.

It's gettin' changed! The front bumper is gone to another local guy,and I got a cool idea for the grill and headlights. The truck will probaly end up with either those flames(In a different green.)or royal blue scallops ain't decided yet.
I like the grill in your truck.

My 55 Effie purchased as my very first vehicle for $300 in 1977 when I was 14 years old.

I worked all summer at the local Dog-n-Suds drive in to make enough to buy the truck and fix it up a little.

Later on it had a set of Cragar wheels, but this pic was from the earliest days (actually it looked better with the factory 16" cap and rings on steelies.)

Loved that truck. Wish I still had it...

Sanford and Son, really like your truck if only Fred had made his look that low! That was another one of those shows I watched when I was young, 1 Adam 12, emergency, The Munsters. I see that there is a lot of talk going on about 1 Adam 12. But that another story. Your F1 is really great and if I ever get one of mine done hope it makes the magazines like yours.
