Not done yet but this is the top I am building for my 4 door

 

thinking of doing this to my 4dr. Anyone have pictures of how to brace up a 49-50 Merc 4dr for the Carson Top?

You seein this thread? Sell those homeboy rims and buy that carson top! See if u can talk to ur dad to leave me the exhaust pipe out and Ill take a look 2morrow about what needs to be done bracewise...dimensions etc. Lets cut this hooker up!

 

how is the carson top itself actually made?is it removable?if so how do you latch it down to the car?

I'm also curious how the Fiberglass tops latch on... Anyone able to provide detailed pics? Mercury Joe's Silver bullet is AWESOME, Gorgeous if I must say so myself. I'm debating doing this to my car but I just need to find out where and how to brace the car correctly before removing the whole top HA!
