Here's mine...excuse my screen name. My first car was a '65 Ford Galaxy, my second one (owned at the same time as the first) was a '57 Coronet, my third one (owned at the same time as the first & second) was a '78 Caddy Hearse. At age 16, I realized I had a problem. Anyways, I have a love for the Mopars.

  2. I am one of the extremist Mopar guys who won't put a chevy clip under my truck (used a 78 cordoba torsion bar setup), use a chevy motor or trans (Oh God No!), ford rear end (why?), or any brand x equipment. Makes life harder sometimes, but I can sleep at night. Worked on many Ford and GM's - just made me love Mopar more. It worries me a bit that the 80 Cordoba tilt column I am using uses a GM ignition switch - may have to do something different there.

Good to see other Mopar freaks here!

Here is my '48 Dodge Pickup in progress

    Here's that worrisome column

bought her when i was 14.
It left 2 weeks ago to get the body work done. The chassis is done, including a 12 point cage. It's eventually going to be a Nostalgia super stocker with hopes of running 10.50s to start. wish me luck

Well if it don't, at least it'll get you on your way.
I'm with you, AJ, the weakest part on any Mopar, is ANY GM part. And a Mopar 8.75 is as strong as, and uses less H.P. than a nine inch Ford.
Plan9, are you keeping those marvelous s/s leaf springs?
I'm doing a stretched nose '66 Dart doorslammer funny. I just finished dooing the first of the lengthened altered wheelbase front fenders, just finishing the tooling for the second fender.

Oh yeah, Mopar all my life. Handed down from the old man.Thing I like about old Mopars is the challenge of finding parts and stuff for them. Took me 40 years to find most of the parts for my 47 Desoto conv. Just bought a 65 cuda which will keep me busy for awhile also
